The Confusion of the Morning After

At the end of Volume 1, the two finally become a couple, and Volume 2 begins on the morning right after Suzume-san’s birthday. The two are absolutely adorable together, but Keishi-kun shows no mercy when Suzume-san gets shy... There’s something so charming about the boyish side hidden beneath his cool exterior—especially the way he gets a little mischievous with the person he likes so much(^^)

Although Suzume-san is a dependable boss at work, she struggles with feelings for Keishi-kun that she simply can’t hold back. For the sake of both of them, she decides to set a few rules for their relationship. (※See the back cover)

A Reward for Following the Rules?!

The rule that they’ll get a reward if they can follow it for a week becomes a kind of brake that keeps their feelings in check, but I couldn’t help worrying that once those restraints come off, the reaction might be pretty intense... mainly for Suzume-san (lol). I also love that they both have that honest desire to reach out and touch the person they love. The affectionate moments between them are incredibly satisfying and enjoyable (^▽^)/

As they focus on their work while keeping their personal and professional lives separate, Keishi-kun unexpectedly makes a mistake. I’m deeply moved by Suzume-san’s strength as a dependable boss and the generosity of spirit she shows as his superior. The thought, “I’m glad I fell in love with this person,” may be my own interpretation, but it really resonated with me. It made me appreciate the depth of their relationship in a way I hadn’t been able to see before.

Keishi-kun’s Birthday and Suzume-san’s Squishy Moment!

The two of them spend their weekends going on dates, enjoying happy moments together—sharing delicious food and relaxing at home. Compared to Keishi-kun, who has always been active, Suzume-san’s softer figure is simply adorable. It also serves as a very relatable reminder of how important regular exercise is. There’s a slight misunderstanding between them, as Keishi-kun loves Suzume-san just the way she is. It’s funny, but also a little bittersweet… I couldn’t help but root for her (lol)

The scene where their feelings finally become mutual and a long-held wish is finally fulfilled… this is one of the highlights of the volume. Please read it for yourself and enjoy the moment~!!
