This was the work through which I first discovered OOY-sensei, and since it was their very first collected volume, I picked it up with excitement, wondering what kind of story it would be. And honestly—“amazing” is the only word that even comes close to describing it. The appeal of Yota, the subordinate with a soft, rounded face and an unexpectedly alluring charm, paired with the undeniable coolness of Shiba, who perfectly embodies the role of a confident boss… it’s just incredible!! And then, revealed during a drinking party, Shiba’s other side—it was way too intense and unforgettable!!!

Yota’s sincerity as he earnestly faces his work, paired with Shiba’s adult composure—and the way he never forgets to give proper support… he’s exactly the kind of boss you’d want. Because Yota takes things so seriously, he sometimes ends up slightly overreaching, and even while understanding that, Shiba desperately steps in to save Yota when he’s hit by a certain crisis… there’s no choice but to root for them.
