An Other world reincarnation BL that introduced me to Fujisaki-sensei!!

I first discovered Fujisaki-sensei’s work through this title, which caught my eye with its beautifully illustrated cover (＾＾) The graceful Nagi-sama with his sidelong glance（this is a character I personally want to honor with “-sama,” so I’ll be using it here lol）and Kotone-kun, a true-blue fudanshi, whose blushing expressions are irresistibly adorable…!! I was instantly drawn into the world of the story.

I hadn’t read many Other world reincarnation stories before, so the worldbuilding felt fresh to me. I had read a few works featuring non-human characters inspired by creatures other than humans in realistic settings, so at first I honestly wondered whether this would be enjoyable, and approached it with some skepticism (to be honest).

It’s surprisingly fun…!!(lol)

The opening, sprinkled with meta elements, had me laughing nonstop (lol) By the way, “meta elements” refer to moments where characters are aware of their own situation and even comment on the presence of those running or controlling the world. As a fudanshi, Kotone-kun calmly reflects on his circumstances after being transported to another world—and even goes so far as to analyze the situation through the lens of typical BL story developments (lol).

“Is something like that even possible…?!” (lol) That was my first reaction—surprised and imagining someone desperately trying to figure out what to do. In order to overcome this situation, a certain decision is made. That decision is not to share physical intimacy with Nagi-sama.

Why is it necessary to form a bond with a divine beast in the first place…?

That’s because Nagi-sama, a divine beast, must raise his divine status. The “Child of the Divine Beast” refers to a partner chosen through a necessary ritual for Nagi-sama to ascend to godhood—someone who evolves alongside him and becomes his destined mate. If it were simply a story of being cherished and showered with love leading to a happy outcome, that would be fine, but things don’t go quite so smoothly.

In this other world, Kotone-kun tries his best not to end up being taken as Nagi-sama’s spouse, but he gets swept along by the situation and ends up being touched a few times. The seductive sideways glances here are absolutely amazing, so I really hope you’ll pay attention to those moments while reading…!! Before long, he is even abducted and put up for auction. The mastermind behind it is another divine beast, “Hao,” who cannot let go of his long-held feelings for Nagi-sama and ends up causing this incident. However, that very event becomes the turning point that deepens the bond between Nagi-sama and Kotone-kun… and it was just the absolute best.

And now, with the continuation, we can’t take our eyes off how the two of them will come to care for each other…!! I’m hoping to introduce it on the blog in the future as well, so please look forward to that♪ If you’re someone who’s interested in non-human characters, An Other world settings, or doting love stories, I highly recommend giving it a read (＾＾)
