Libre Publishing’s BBC DELUXE (Be-Boy Comics Deluxe) “My Club Junior Is Coming on to Me” is the title I’ll be introducing!

Below is an excerpt from the back cover. This post includes impressions and reviews that touch on the story! If you just want a quick idea of what it’s about, I’d be happy if you read only the red text and highlighted parts.

“Creepy” is basically a compliment, right… yeah. …———

Moriya receives a homemade bento from his junior on the basketball team, Yoshitake. …but there’s no girls’ basketball team at his school, and no female manager either… Which means—he’s a guy!? He’s taller than Moriya, and somehow his movements feel a little… off-putting…!!! For some reason, the situation turns unexpectedly lovey-dovey and increasingly serious. He’s being doted on, their hands are held, the distance keeps closing in— and before he knows it, they’re even under the same futon!? No matter how annoyed he gets or how much he yells, Yoshitake’s heart never breaks ♥ An adorable, earnest junior—the “maiden-hearted” boy Yoshitake—versus the troubled yet handsome senior Moriya in a back-and-forth battle of hearts ♥

From Libre Publishing’s BBC DELUXE “My Club Junior Is Coming on to Me”

A four-panel BL manga that still feels somehow fresh, even more than ten years later!!

This work was originally released in 2012, and even though more than ten years have passed, it remains a story packed with charm that makes you want to reread it again and again. When it comes to Koshino(腰乃), the generous use of onomatopoeia and playful panel composition is one of the biggest draws, and this title is filled with that same sense of fun—made even more distinctive by its four-panel manga format.

This series was originally serialized as a mobile release and later adapted into a comic through a drama CD and a special edition. I personally purchased the later “standard edition.” To begin with, I couldn’t help but swoon over the cuteness of the cover and the flustered expression of the senior, Moriya (^^)

The title “being pursued” perfectly conveys the sense of actually “being chased,” and that dynamic energy is what makes it so entertaining. As expected from Koshino(腰乃), their signature style shines brighter than ever!!

The sheer preciousness of the interactions between a junior who just won’t listen and a desperately earnest, handsome senior is simply…!!

The relationship between the two within the club, along with the other members who quietly watch over them, creates a warm and comforting atmosphere that leaves you with a pleasant aftertaste once you finish reading. In the latter half, the format shifts to a more traditional manga style, offering glimpses of what happens afterward—and that part is just as enjoyable.

It’s a highly recommended title that’s sure to satisfy anyone who enjoys BL that makes you laugh (^^)
