LIBRE B-boy Comics “Akari and He Are Troublesome ” will be introduced!

The following is quoted from the back cover. This review touches on the story’s content! If you just want a brief idea of what it’s about, I’d be happy if you read only the highlighted sections.

“Can a straight guy like you really fall for me?” …―――――

Two straight male friends end up getting together. Akari, a high school boy who openly identifies as gay, can’t help but feel unsettled by it. Is it envy? Or jealousy? …What even is that? Surely, I’ll have someone I love someday too…! Fired up by that thought, he heads to a gay bar—only to meet an irritating adult who keeps throwing around nothing but blunt truths―――!?

A spin-off of the buzzworthy pixiv Comic hit “Mikami and Sato Are Not Yet Questionable”! The exclusive bonus chapters available only in the collected volume feature their very first ×××!

Tsurukame-sensei’s second collected volume!!

This was the work that introduced me to Tsurukame-sensei, and it’s a title I’d been interested in ever since it was being serialized on pixiv Comic. Since I already knew it was a spin-off, I was especially happy to see it get a collected volume release (^^). By the way, the original work, “Mikami and Sato Are Not Yet Questionable,” is also a lot of fun… Up until now, couples often featured one partner who was straight (not romantically interested in men), but this story takes a rarer approach with both characters being straight, making it a delightfully awkward and entertaining read (^^). I’m hoping to introduce that title on this blog as well someday as well, so please look forward to it…!!

If you love age-gap romances, straight characters, and salarymen, this is a must-read!!

Those who love Tsurukame-sensei will know exactly what I mean, but the expressions in each individual panel are absolutely outstanding. Akari-kun, a high school student, comes on strong, and there are plenty of adorable moments where he’s so open and honest with his emotions that it makes you groan in sympathy. At the same time, the story also shows the process through which Akari-kun became who he is today, shaped by a certain experience from his past—so painfully bittersweet… Mikami-kun and Sato-kun make brief appearances as well, and their interactions with Akari-kun are enough to bring you to tears… You can’t help but think, “He deserves to be happy, or it just wouldn’t be fair…” And then, right at that moment, Wakamiya-san makes his entrance.

A pure-hearted high schooler (for lack of a better term) toyed with by the mature Wakamiya-san struggles with whether it’s really okay to fall for him. Afraid of getting too deeply involved and becoming more and more greedy for his affection, he tries to draw a line and keep his distance. That fear of wanting more and more… there’s no way readers *wouldn’t* fall in love with such an earnest boy (strong emphasis)!!!

This series is actually still ongoing, so you won’t want to take your eyes off what happens next with these two…!! If you haven’t read it yet, by all means, give it a try!! Enjoy an age-gap love filled with inner conflict (^^)
