Yuumi (悠海), who decided long ago that he would never take love seriously because of past experiences, finds himself one night being approached by a handsome stranger at a bar after cutting things off with a casual partner and drinking a little too much. Assuming it’s just a pickup attempt, he brushes it off lightly—but then they unexpectedly run into each other again at work a few days later. Despite being pressed with lines like “It’s fate” and “Let’s be friends,” Yuumi wants to refuse, yet ends up reluctantly agreeing to go out for a meal with Sumeragi (皇), who seems to be on familiar terms with company executives.

Suddenly, Sumeragi—who had kindly taken the drunk Yumi home—confesses, “I have a secret too,” and boldly reveals himself below the waist, underwear and all, before making a serious declaration of love. But then—it turns out the thing he fell for at first sight, gazing at with unmistakable intensity, is Yumi’s “fuguri”!!!!?

A second comics release by the genius who brings unique preferences to life—Yamachi (やまち)!

This is the second comics release by Yamachi (やまち), the creator of “Afurete Koborete, Gaman Dekinai”, and once again, this work definitely gave me the feeling it would awaken a brand-new preference—and yes, it absolutely did (^^).

A romantic comedy featuring the handsome office worker Yumi and Sumeragi, a gentleman with a princely appearance—and a seriously perverted side! It’s adorable…!! Well, to be honest, since Sumeragi is the eccentric one, poor Yumi ends up getting dragged into all of it, which makes things pretty rough for him (lol). Now then, let me start by walking you through the story!

Haunted by past relationships, Yumi feels hesitant about falling in love or sharing genuine feelings with someone, so he cuts things off with a casual partner at a hotel and ends up getting a bit too drunk at a bar. That’s when Sumeragi strikes up a conversation with him. Confident in his good looks, Yumi initially assumes he’s just being hit on and brushes him off casually—but to his surprise, they end up running into each other again at work a few days later.

Day after day, he finds himself being pursued by a handsome, prince-like man, leaving him wondering—could this really be fate?

Sumeragi’s approach is unbelievably intense, and with every trick in the book, he persistently tries to get closer to Yumi. Whether he truly just wants to be friends is highly questionable—but these scenes are incredibly cute (^^). Looking back after finishing the story, it’s a little unsettling to realize that he was carefully aiming and firing each shot with precision all along (lol)

Between Yumi, who wants a relationship that’s purely physical, and Sumeragi, who wants all of Yumi’s feelings along with it, the story is packed with snappy back-and-forth banter and plenty of spicy developments that make it a very engaging read. Sumeragi is relentlessly straightforward in his pursuit of Yumi’s “fuguri,” and watching Yumi get completely swept up by that eccentric intensity is hilarious…!! There are also nerve-wracking moments with the appearance of a former boss who became the source of Yumi’s past trauma, as well as a beautiful woman entering the scene, making the jealous twists especially fun (^^).

The way they show affection and how sweetly they flirt with each other is absolutely top-tier, so I highly recommend seeing it for yourself! There’s no doubt that it will awaken a brand-new preference in you!!
