This was the work that first introduced me to Mineshima-sensei (^^). I had already been enjoying several titles involving adult video appearances, but what really drew me in was the provocative line written on the obi, which convinced me to make the purchase! “Don’t let anyone else see you but me.” ……Wait—what? Who? What exactly? Please explain in detail!!! (How many people even get this reference nowadays…? For those wondering, it’s an abbreviation meaning “please explain in detail!”) Anyway, back to the point—characters with intense possessiveness are absolutely my weakness, and I was certain I’d regret it if I didn’t read this one (seriously).

The story unexpectedly opens with a meeting. It turns out to be a last-ditch move to save the company where the uke, Arakita, and his junior colleague Hachiya both work—an appearance in an adult video…!! At that point, it’s nothing short of an order, leaving them with no choice but to comply. Both of them are straight, their personalities are complete opposites, and they believe there’s no way they could ever get along—yet as they begin working together, they slowly start to understand what kind of people the other truly is.

Diligent to a fault, Arakita approaches his work with complete sincerity, and despite lacking natural flair, he throws himself into doing everything he can to keep the company afloat. Even when those around him seem ready to give up, his steadfast dedication truly stood out and left a strong impression (^^). Moved by that attitude, Hachiya—who had already been serious about his job—joins him, and together they begin to tackle everything even more earnestly, including working side by side with greater commitment on projects such as developing products tied to their adult video appearance.

As they continue to co-star time and again, Hachiya gradually finds himself drawn to Arakita, who begins to blossom as a uke with hidden potential. Despite moments of inner conflict, the two steadily start to connect on a deeper level… or so it seemed.

Because the company’s recovery was also at stake, their involvement wasn’t disclosed to all employees; only the two of them, the company president, and a handful of others were aware of it. There were several reasons for this, including avoiding unnecessary unrest—but just as the emotional distance between them had begun to close, the fact that the two of them were appearing in adult videos is exposed…!!
