A unique OmegaVerse world—“Please Let Me Hate You” by Hijiki (ひじき)

Introducing “Kirai de Irasete” from Libre Publishing’s BE×BOY OmegaVerse Comics!

For those wondering “What is OmegaVerse, anyway?”, I’ll give a brief explanation of the OmegaVerse worldview (＾＾).

“OmegaVerse” refers to a special fictional setting in which, in addition to the biological sexes of “male” and “female,” there are three additional secondary genders: “α” (Alpha), “β” (Beta), and “Ω” (Omega). Originally born from overseas fan-created works, the concept has since been interpreted and adapted in many different ways depending on the creator.

The story unfolds based on the premise that those classified as Ω (Omega)—a secondary gender—are able to become pregnant even if they are male. For readers who aren’t familiar with this concept, it may feel confusing at first, but if you approach it through your own interpretation, you’ll find yourself able to immerse deeply in its unique worldview. I truly hope you’ll give it a try.

Additionally, while the meanings of “bonding (tsugau)” and “fated mates (unmei no tsugai)” can vary from work to work, this title includes an explanation of the OmegaVerse setting at the beginning, so please refer to that section for more details (＾＾).

Shizuto, an Ω (Omega), lives as a single mother with her beloved daughter, Shizuku. While Shizuto deeply cherishes her child, she carries a deep-seated trauma related to Alphas and has resolved never's to form a bond. However, at a matchmaking party she is forced to attend, an Alpha appears, claiming Shizuto as his “fated mate.” Though she manages to flee the scene, she later runs into that very same Alpha—Hazuki, now wearing a school uniform—at her new workplace…?!

The sheer cuteness of Shizuku, his precious little daughter…!!

It’s a story set in a world that is far from purely happy and carefree, so there are moments where continuing to read can feel emotionally tough. Still, watching Shizuku bravely try to protect and support her mom (Shizuto), and the scenes she shares with Hazuki—oh my goodness—they’re just unbearable in the best way. They’ll bring tears to your eyes. (Tissues are a must)

Justbe completely happy without a single worry—please…!!!

In the latter half, you can’t help but keep wishing for scenes featuring just Shizuto and Hazuki together. It gets very spicy, but the rush of events leading all the way to a happy ending is so intense that I truly hope you’ll see it through to the very end (＾＾).
