You can fully enjoy Tange-sensei’s beautifully illustrated elite, suit-clad handsome men!!!

This is the work through which I first came to know Tange-sensei, and it is such a wonderful and engaging title that it makes me regret not having discovered a manga with such artistically stunning artwork sooner. It is a story packed with enough impact to strike straight through readers from many different angles, and it offers detailed explanations of what ministries and bureaucrats are really like. The more you understand the finer details, the more fascinating it becomes (＾＾). Above all, with so many characters appearing, there’s also the joy of finding more and more personal favorites.

And so, Volume 1 focuses on my personal favorite, Haryuu!! He has slightly long hair, with an impeccable face and build, yet the fact that he is completely head over heels for his one and only, Todō is unbearably adorable…!! Meanwhile, his “buddy” Todō, who actually loves Haryuu deeply but can’t quite find the right words to express his feelings toward him, shows such earnest vulnerability that it’s absolutely perfect…!!

Through what are called “special training sessions,” the two chosen as “buddies” engage in interactions that feel just like those of lovers, gradually being drawn to one another, feeling jealousy over each other’s missions, and yearning with affection—the more you read, the more deeply you are pulled into the world of the story. What’s more, this single volume features stories about three different pairs, allowing you to enjoy the unique appeal of each one (＾＾).

The steamy developments are portrayed with an artistic touch… and the detailed sound effects greatly enhance the sense of realism!!

Haryuu, who lost control during the very first training session, has an overwhelming amount of love and pours his feelings and affection into cherishing Todō, so I felt that anyone who loves devoted, doting romance will fall hard for this. The way tension seems to run through every glance and fingertip, along with the expressive depiction of scattering droplets, is simply irresistible…!! I truly hope you’ll read it and savor every bit of the impact that leaps off the page (＾＾).
