“I still love you, but I can’t be honest about it.” …―――――

Aihara and Kashima, who work at the same restaurant, are constantly at each other’s throats over the smallest things. Yet when the other isn’t around, each of them is secretly losing their mind over the other’s little words and gestures. They are extremely! hung-up ex-lovers. Since their breakup, both have convinced themselves that the other has no feelings left. Watched over with gentle warmth by their coworkers, can they manage to nurture love once again…?

This was the work through which I first discovered Kishimoto-sensei, and from the very teaser line alone, I knew I was going to love it. (^^)

The impact of mutual unspoken love is unreal…!!

First of all, the fact that they’re constantly bickering in public while secretly losing their minds over each other is almost too cute. It’s nothing short of perfection. You can already feel hints of devoted love and obsession creeping in.

Whether they end up getting back together is certainly one of the highlights—but the process leading there is just so, so entertaining. Anyone who loves a forward, assertive love interest should absolutely read this. And if you enjoy deliciously drawn-out, awkward pining, you really shouldn’t miss it.

There’s also a calm, level-headed coworker who appears, and this poor soul ends up caught right between Aihara and Kashima—stuck in a total sandwich situation. That’s part of what makes it so funny. Absolutely adorable (^^). In my personal ranking of side characters, they’d definitely place near the top.

Let’s cheer on mutual pining together!!
