Now then, let’s switch gears

This was the work through which I discovered Chifuyu-sensei (ちふゆ) (^^). I’d actually been curious about this creator for a long time, and I always felt that their art style—especially those mesmerizing, almost soul-pulling eyes—was incredibly striking…!! Once I finally read it, I couldn’t help but shout out loud…

Isn’t the gyaru just way too cute???

No—excuse me for that. I was trying to sum up my thoughts succinctly, and that phrase just slipped out (lol). But seriously, he’s genuinely adorable! The protagonist, Fumiharu!! (A gyaru, no less!!) I’ve read plenty of stories with flashy guys or gyaru-type characters before (and some of them basically became my favorites!), but this was a brand-new kind of wonderful Madonna gyaru, born from a completely different angle… it’s precious…!! At first glance, you might think “yeah, that’s totally a gyaru,” but as the story goes on, watching him slowly get won over is just unbearably cute…!!

And then enters Tamaki—the national-treasure-class handsome guy!!

In works where Omega (Ω) and Alpha (α) characters take center stage (= Omegaverse), there’s often a tendency—at least in my personal experience—toward bittersweet developments or stories that make you think, “I really want them to be rewarded…!!”. This title certainly has elements like that, but at the same time, it unfolds in a surprisingly fun and engaging way, and that contrast is exactly what drew me in (^^).

As you keep reading, you might think the story will continue with that gyaru-level energy as the main focus—but that’s not the case. An outrageously handsome guy makes his appearance. As I mentioned at the beginning, Tamaki, with his mesmerizing eyes and black hair, later transforms into an obsessively devoted pet… I truly hope he becomes everyone’s new favorite… He’s honestly incredible, so I really want you to savor his debut scene properly (?), please…!! (From someone who has already fallen deep into the pit.)

The two of them end up living together, and just when you think it might turn into a one-sided descent into obsession… things take an unexpected turn. What is that about!? It’s so intriguing you just can’t stop reading (^^). And when it comes to their sweet, intimate moments, there are plenty of spicy elements as well, so even readers who enjoy light bondage or seeing the one on the receiving end with teary eyes will find plenty to love! You may even start to enjoy the thrill of being relentlessly pulled deeper and deeper into the abyss—so please be sure to read it all the way to the end~(^ω^)/
