A fateful volume that led me to discover one of my favorite creators

This was the very first title I became deeply hooked on after discovering BL, and it is also the debut BL comic by one of my favorite creators, Aoi Levin（あおいれびん）. With its soft, gentle character designs contrasted by the lively energy and quiet strength bursting from the dynamic panels, this is a wonderfully balanced work, filled throughout with countless moments that hit me right where it counts (^^)

A white school uniform × cheer squad leader × cool demeanor—an explosion of irresistible cuteness…!!

The image of a traditionally manly and valiant cheer squad dressed in sharply tailored white uniforms is truly the best…!! The protagonist, Takato (Takato)-kun, launches a full-on, relentless pursuit of the squad leader, Kashiwagi-kun, whom he falls for at first sight. His unyielding determination and nonstop forward momentum are overwhelming, and there’s even a hint of intimidation beneath all that cuteness… (laugh). The intensity of his feelings toward the one he loves is absolutely striking as you read. Little by little, the distance between Takato-kun and Kashiwagi-san begins to close, but…

Things escalate quickly into steamy territory…!!

Unexpected kisses, playful touches, and relentless advances—so much so that even the ever-pushing Takato-kun ends up being overwhelmed by Kashiwagi-kun, whose hidden appetite makes him unbelievably cool…!! Sneaking kisses in secret, and Takato-kun ends up completely melted by how good those kisses are. It’s just too adorable…

The story then expands into an omnibus format featuring other characters as well—and they’re all adorable… From “the cheer squad’s flag bearer with a surprisingly masculine edge × his lover” to “Kashiwagi-kun’s best friend × his caretaker,” every pairing is full of high energy. The sheer momentum of it all can be overwhelming as you read, but it’s the kind that leaves you feeling uplifted (^^)

It’s a consistently fun and enjoyable work no matter how many times you read it, so whether you’re new to it or revisiting it, I highly recommend giving it a read (^^)
