I’ve always loved Aiba Kyoko-sensei’s works so much that there was a time when I would buy them purely based on the cover—without even checking the synopsis (＾＾). This time as well, I was drawn in by the cover and picked it up, and it turned out to be a wonderful piece that hit all my personal sweet spots…!!

Saito, the one doing the pursuing, is absolutely insaaaaane!!!

With a premise where Yu—who usually only tops—becomes the bottom when he meets Saito for work, it’s already irresistibly perfect. On top of that, Saito’s gentlemanly nature that never feels overly aggressive is just wonderful. All the while, Yu has been secretly harboring a one-sided crush on Saito. The reason Yu started working as a delivery host stems from a certain experience in his past that twisted his sense of desire—and that element becomes one of the key points of this story.

How is it possible for a gentleman who suits the line “Want to try being kept by me?” this perfectly?

With just the right level of assertiveness, Yu finds himself being gently “trained” with toys or sometimes left without going all the way, which leaves him feeling emotionally conflicted. Adorable. When someone is kind, mature, gentlemanly—and on top of that, skilled at affectionate touches—it’s only natural to fall for them. Then one day, the first major turning point arrives: the shop where Yu works is forced to close. Unable to hide the loneliness of suddenly not being able to see Saito anymore—and the feeling that he wants to see him even more—Yu meets Saito one last time, seeking a final connection. It’s bittersweet, yet his earnestness only makes him more alluring. And in that moment, the words of confession slip from his mouth without him even meaning to.

After being asked by Saito, who works from home if he’d like to live together, it suddenly turns into a dream-like cohabitation…?! But in reality, they end up touching each other far less than when they met for work, leaving Yu unsure how he’s supposed to act. That’s because he’s lived his life without really knowing anything beyond his job. Seeing Saito in glasses—an unfamiliar sight—makes his heart flutter, and as a reader, you can’t help but feel happy watching such pure, innocent cuteness (＾＾). Then comes the second turning point. Yu actually has a younger sister, and he’s been working his current job while sending money home to support her.（He’s way too admirable） With nowhere else to go and still unable to fully convey his feelings for Saito, Yu struggles internally. When his sister asks what he’s doing these days, he blurts out that he’s being taken care of by Saito. And that’s when Yu finally comes to learn the true side of the person he loves—someone whose real name he hadn’t even known until recently.
