It’s a unique setting, but *“I Like You, Good Boy”* is very easy to read because the main characters—an idol and his fan—are based on fairly relatable, familiar dynamics that are easy to connect with. It’s a highly engaging work that makes you want to keep turning the pages one after another!

First, I’d like to talk about the protagonist, Shota (＾＾)

He’s incredibly straightforward, and his love for his favorite idol, Aoi, is absolutely unstoppable!

Shota was living a fulfilling life, happily supporting his favorite idol, but while thinking he really should find a partner of his own… he was having too much fun with his fandom life and couldn’t quite bring himself to do it. He worked part-time jobs and enjoyed music shows featuring his favorite two-member idol unit, living a pretty typical college life. Then one day, he notices someone sitting collapsed in front of him and calls out to them. His kindness—he just can’t ignore someone in need—is really sweet… but at the same time, there’s also a lack of caution that makes him kind of adorable…!! Honestly, he even feels like the type who could easily be tricked by someone bad…!! The rounded, chibi-style panels are especially charming (lol).

And the person he called out to was none other than Aoi, who had become so unwell from being unable to release his desires that he ended up collapsing.

Meeting your idol (your favorite) in person…!?!!

If your favorite idol suddenly appeared right in front of you, you wouldn’t be able to stay calm… right? But then, out of nowhere, Shota ends up taking his “oshi” home… wait, what?! I was honestly shocked when I read that, but it also felt very true to Shota’s personality—he just can’t leave someone in trouble alone! …That said, from here on, the story becomes a real page-turner, and I couldn’t stop feeling that rising excitement… (〃▽〃)

Until now, it was only something he could imagine—but to actually end up *physically experiencing a play session with his favorite idol for the purpose of relieving desire*… The tense, heart-racing exchanges filled with excitement are absolutely irresistible…!! (the absolute best!)

As a partner, staying by his side…what will happen next…I can’t stop wondering about their future development…!!
