We’re introducing “We Might Be Newlyweds, Vol. 2” from Takeshobo, BAMBOO COMICS!

The following is quoted from the back cover. This review does touch on the story’s content! If you just want a quick overview!! I’d be happy if you read only the red text and highlighted sections.

“I thought there was no way I could love you any more than this”…———

Kaburagi and Nasukawa, who have gone from a “camouflage marriage” to becoming a truly married couple. Even as they continue to pursue “rationality” in their newlywed life, their feelings for each other—and their growing excitement—show no signs of slowing down.

While the two are enjoying their blissful honeymoon phase, wrapped in a happy mood, they run into Kaburagi’s old friend, “Renkon.” When Kaburagi learns that Renkon is going to be assigned to the research lab where Nasukawa works, he tells him, “I want you to keep the fact that we’re married a secret from Renkon.”

Could there be some kind of problem with me being his partner…? Even as that thought crosses his mind, Nasukawa accepts Kaburagi’s request, believing there must be a reason behind it—but……

What could truly be going on in Kaburagi’s heart…?!

From Takeshobo, BAMBOO COMICS “We Might Be Newlyweds, Vol. 2”

We’ve been waiting for this…!!! Volume 2 brings an even higher level of sweet, affectionate love!!

Continuing from Chisha no Mi(ちしゃの実)’s previous work, Volume 2 turns the sweet, affectionate vibe way up!! And right from the start, you’re treated to yukata looks overflowing with charm… Yes— the hot spring trip arc is wherethe storybegins!!!

The sight of the usually attentive elite office worker showing a rare, flustered expression, paired with the unexpectedly bold, boundary-blurring intimacy of the laid-back, science-minded guy, strikes you in an instant. Intense, yet overflowing with affection, it creates a space filled with pure happiness…!! (The absolute best of the best

Kaburagi’s old friend, “Renkon,” who suddenly appears before the two of them.

This guy turns out to be seriously eccentric…!! At first, I thought Kaburagi might be keeping Renkon at arm’s length because he had something unpleasant held over him and didn’t want it exposed, so he was trying to limit their interactions. But that wasn’t the whole story. He’s a so-called “newlywed killer,” a truly troublesome type of guy!!! There’s no way Kaburagi would let him get close to Nasukawa… the wariness makes perfect sense.

The sheer terror of a jealous Kaburagi…!!!

The two of them are constantly falling for each other every single moment, but Nasukawa’s slightly airheaded charm only adds fuel to the fire and sends rational thought flying (^^). The exchanges with the uniquely quirky (and somewhat suggestive) professor are even more entertaining than in Volume 1, and with the addition of Renkon—someone who knows their past—the story only grows more lively and engaging.

Because something is important, there are times when it won’t be understood unless it’s put into words. This story uses that idea as its core, becoming a work that later deepens your understanding and awareness. By simply watching over this happy couple, it almost feels like your ideal image of newlyweds is gently shaped and elevated to new heights. The sense of excitement leading up to the climax was so much fun! If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend giving it a try (^^). You’ll be completely soaked in happiness…!!
