Nasukawa, a rational, science-oriented graduate student and Kaburagi, an elite office worker are friends who were classmates back in their university days. Because they were both short on money, they ended up living together, but when their landlord tells them that two men sharing a place isn’t allowed, they decide to enter into a “camouflage marriage.” Once their newlywed life begins, Nasukawa slowly realizes that he’s started to feel his heart flutter over Kaburagi—someone who was supposed to be just a friend.

In the midst of all this, Nasukawa’s bed breaks, and when he tries to sleep in Kaburagi’s bed instead, Kaburagi makes a move—a slightly over-the-top form of adult skinship. As Nasukawa panics, trying to calm his body after reacting without meaning to, what Kaburagi proposes is none other than a “rational solution” to deal with it all—―――――!?

There’s something incredibly endearing about how smart people can be so wonderfully foolish at times…!!!

This is the very work through which I discovered Chisha no Mi（ちしゃの実）, and it’s such a perfectly paced, engaging story that I ended up reading it all in one sitting! What really stands out is how the story consistently hits all the right notes—especially the contrast between Nasukawa, who acts with logic and “rationality” as his top priority, and Kaburagi, who is utterly and tenderly sweet with him…

The fact that he’s completely unaware of it makes it downright sinful…!!!（It’s so sweet it makes you want to spit out sugar）（Absolutely the best）

As someone who absolutely loves devoted, doting relationships, I was more than satisfied!!! However, at one point, a misunderstanding arises. The frustrating back-and-forth makes your heart tighten painfully. And after that, a slightly steamy development awaits. After all, when you think of newlyweds…

Their first night!!!!!

I never imagined the day would come when we’d get to witness such a richly fulfilling first night… It’s like being showered with a massive fireworks display that gathers every last blushing reaction in your body and makes it burst all at once. This is a title I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to recharge with sweet, affectionate newlywed happiness that blows away everyday fatigue (＾＾)
